We are excited to announce that StackRack's SR5K-UL battery module has been officially added to the California Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) Verified Equipment List. This approval was granted by AESC Inc., the lead member of the SGIP Technical Working Group (TWG), affirming our product's compliance with the program's rigorous standards. SR5K-UL battery modules are approved with Sol-Ark and Luxpower inverters up to 60 kWh.
The SR5K-UL is a 5 kWh (51.2VDC | 100aH) rack-mount battery module designed for residential and light commercial use. It features high-quality lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells and an advanced battery management system (BMS), ensuring safe and reliable energy storage. This module is ideal for solar self-consumption, time-based control, and backup power applications, and it meets the highest safety standards with UL1973 & UL9540A certifications.
The California Public Utilities Commission's (CPUC) SGIP provides valuable incentives to support existing, new, and emerging distributed energy resources. Through SGIP, rebates are available for qualifying distributed energy systems installed on the customer’s side of the utility meter, including advanced energy storage systems like the StackRack SR5K-UL.
With this approval, StackRack is proud to offer our customers in California an enhanced opportunity to access incentives and rebates, further supporting the adoption of safe, reliable, and innovative energy storage solutions.
