Description

The SRB6 Battery Cabinet is an outdoor-rated enclosure that can hold up to 6x SR5K-UL battery modules for a total energy capacity of 30 kWh. The cabinet is outdoor-rated with automatic, temperature-controlled cooling fans (120VAC) to keep batteries operating at optimal temperature. The cabinet ships pre-assembled for simple plug & play installation. Includes SRB6 Cable Kit.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to install?

Less than 1 hour for most projects. The cabinet is pre-assembled except for the base legs, which take 5-10 minutes to install. Batteries can be installed from either the front or side doors and usually takes 2-3 minutes per battery.

Which inverters can I mount on the cabinet?

Luxpower 12K (EG4 18K PV) & Sol-Ark 15K.

What about rain/snow on the inverter if I mount it on the cabinet?

We offer an optional rain/snow cover that attaches to the top of the cabinet and protects the inverter.

Can you connect multiple battery cabinets together?

Yes. The busbars and knockout holes make connecting multiple cabinets simple.

How many inverters can I connect to the SRB6 battery cabinet?

It depends on the number of batteries you install. Eack SR5K-UL battery module has up to 100A continuous discharge (50A recommended), so six batteries would allow up to 600A max discharge or 3x Luxpower SNA 6K inverters, 2x Luxpower 12K/Sol-Ark 15Ks.

The busbar ratings in the cabinet are 1000A.
